Problem 2

Select a different problem

Simplify: - (- x - ) = x   +

Example:

Simplify: f = 3x2(ax + 2)
First multiply 3x2 by ax, which is the first term in the parentheses.
This gives 3ax3.
Second multiply 3x2 by 2, which is the second term in the parentheses.
This gives 6x2.
Combining these terms gives the solution: f = 3ax3 + 6x2
